From the feedback received the combined Skyline Class of 1979 and Class of 1978 renunion was a resounding success. Now that the 30th reunion is behind us, the reunion committee is already making plans. Over the course of the next several weeks/months, you will see the web site change. The first thing you will notice is that we've already started a countdown to the 35th class reunion so everyone has plenty of time to loss that last 5 pounds, find that long lost bottle or Rogaine, or recover from the sights of seeing how old everyone but you had gotten.
During the reunion activities  you could barely take a step without someone pointing a camera in your direction. With all of these pictures being taken, we thought it would be fun to set up an area on the web site for an online photo album of the reunion. We've created an upload form to allow you to share your pictures with others. It is only available to registered users so please register.
We will take all of the photos that are received and categorize them and give credit to the photographer. These pictures will then be included in an online album you will be able to view on the web site. Our goal is to allow each photo to be available both online and as a download so that classmates will be able to have copies of the pictures that were taken. For those who would prefer prints, we have established a relationship with ShutterFly, an online printing vendor, that will allow you to order prints online and have them delivered to your door.
We are also looking to expand the reach of the web site and establish it not only as a location where you can find out about upcoming reunions but also to connect or reconnect with classmates and keep in touch. We are therefore looking for ideas of what types of information or features you would like to see on the class web site. Feel free to contact us with all of your ideas and we'll see what we can do to make them a reality.
While the Skyline Class of 1979 and Class of 1978 30 year reunion may be a memory, we want this site to continue to provide you with information on your class and classmates. We look forward to seeing you in July 2014 for the 35th reunion! |
